Another one in need of parenting class

A wild night in Largo ended up with a mom in jail and a teenager recovering from a bashing with a construction level. Cops say 47-year-old Deborah Castonguay had been serving rum shots to underage kids when an argument broke out.

They say Costonguay then tried to kick everyone out of the home at 429 1st Avenue NE.

As the argument escalated, Castonguay confronted her 14-year-old son's girlfriend on the home's porch. According to the police report, she grabbed a 4-foot construction level and hit the teenage girl knocking her out.

Costongual then stopped her son from making a call for emergency help by taking the phone away.

What punishment would make these child killers suffer enough?

Trespassing Death: Texas authorities say Gayle Muhs and his wife, Sheila, shot a 7-year-old boy in the head May 7 for supposedly trespassing on their property. Donald Coffey Jr., who had been off-roading with three other people roughly 40 miles northeast of Houston, died two days later. The two were charged with second-degree felony counts of aggravated assault.
