LOOK A LITTLE CLOSER.The snake's, the DEAD snake's, head is completely submerged underwater. That's not an open mouth you're looking at... it's an open gut! The snake (in the Florida Everglades) decided to make a snack of an alligator but the gator caused the snake's body to literally explode and eject its contents. Too late for the alligator but wow, can you imagine the tummy ache that snake had right before it died?
